Encore Dental Insurance Plans 2024
Encore Dental offers dental insurance to self-employed workers, those who can’t gain dental benefits through work and retired individuals without access to dental care through Medicare. Unlike some major companies that offer dental plans through employer-sponsored coverage, Encore Dental only offers private dental insurance to individuals and families. As a result, individuals could save money by working directly with the company. The company offers dental plans to anyone aged 18 to 99 regardless of dental history or pre-existing condition as long as members live in a state where Encore is licensed to do business.

Encore Dental Products Available
The company is committed to helping patients get routine preventive care because studies consistently show that proper oral maintenance can reduce the risk of conditions like heart disease, diabetes and respiratory problems. Encore Dental offers several resources for learning more about the benefits of dental care on its website. In an effort to promote awareness for these and other benefits, the company’s dental plans include free checkups twice per year. Encore Dental offers three options for insurance coverage:
Each plan covers routine care at 100 percent while other services are covered at varying percentages. Both Standard plans include a waiting period to receive coverage on major dental work such as crowns and root canals. The 1-2-3 plan does not have a waiting period for any dental services and is a relatively new plan. There are advantages and disadvantages to each, but it should be noted that Encore Dental currently does not offer orthodontic coverage in any of its plans. The company is working on a plan to provide orthodontia to children, but this coverage is not available right now.
Unique to Encore Dental is the ability of members to cancel coverage within 30 days at a 100 percent guaranteed refund. Customers who enroll in a plan through Encore have a month to decide if the coverage works for them by reviewing the policy details. If they’re not satisfied with the terms of service, then they can apply for a full refund. Encore does reserve the right to reject any additional applications from consumers who apply for coverage after canceling an existing policy, and the rejection period lasts one year.
